The Bible says that before sentencing, Jesus was presented to the crowd with the words "Behold the man". In Latin these words are "Ecce Homo". The Ecce Homo Arch is one of the Stations of the Cross on the Via Dolorosa.
The arch was actually built at least 100 years after Jesus was sentenced.
